St. Joseph’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre Unveils Renovated Rehab Gym

St. Joseph’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre hosted an open house to unveil their completely renovated Renaissance Rehabilitation Gym. The rehab gym, known as “The Renaissance at St. Joseph’s”, has been undergoing renovations for the last several months. As part of the renovation project, the Renaissance Rehabilitation Gym has also acquired brand new, state of the art equipment.

The open house was a huge success. It was attended by many, including the Mayor of Hamtramck- Karen Majewski, hospital presidents, numerous physicians, HCAM chair board members and a host of other attendees from the healthcare community. It was held at St. Joseph’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Hamtramck on Thursday, July 14. Special tours of the rehabilitation gym and other areas of the facility were given to each guest.

The evening was filled with lots of excitement from the lovely sounds of a harpist greeting the guests upon arrival, delicious hors d’oeuvres & beverages, raffle prizes and great gift bags for all. Dr. Leonard Ellison Jr., MD who is affiliated with Detroit Medical Center, did the honors of cutting the ribbon during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

St. Joseph’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre was recently recognized as a 2016 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care.
