Posted: 07.18.17

Father Murray, an Olympia Nursing & Rehabilitation Network facility that provides rehabilitation and specialized care for hospitals, patients and families across the Midwest, announced today that it was honored with the 2017 Bronze National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association (AHCA)/National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Quality Award Program. Sima Lerman, president of business development at Olympia Nursing & Rehabilitation Network, made the announcement.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program provides a pathway for providers of long- and short-term care services on a journey toward performance excellence. Father Murray was honored with the Bronze award for the second consecutive year based on its demonstration to begin a rigorous quality improvement program.

“Our mission to provide quality patient care is portrayed in our everyday work at each of our Olympia facilities,” said Lerman. “This award is a reflection of our staff at Father Murray and their dedication to providing each of our patients with quality care, comfort and an overall positive experience.”

Recipients will be awarded at the 2017 AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Ceremony at the AHCA/NCAL’s 68th Annual Convention and Expo in Las Vegas on October 17, 2017, with bronze, silver and gold awards for quality performance.

Father Murray is one of the seven Olympia Nursing & Rehabilitation Network facilities located in metro Detroit. Each facility provides short- and long-term patients with individualized healthcare plans catered to their specific medical needs. While Olympia prides itself on providing a safe, comfortable environment, complete with the advanced technologies, specialized equipment and clinical expertise required to provide world-class care, it is the staff who is the most important element in the Olympia formula.
