New MDHHS Website Created to Address MI Health Link Transition
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a final rule, CMS 4192-F, that allows state Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMPs), including Michigan’s MI Health Link (MIHL) program, to expand into an integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP). This transition will take place over the next several years with a new Highly Integrated Dual Eligible (HIDE) D-SNP program launching January 1, 2026.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) launched a website to provide beneficiaries, health plans, stakeholder, advocates and the public with up-to-date information on this transition. In addition, providers may send feedback related to the MI Health Link transition to [email protected].
