Upcoming Outage: Due to monthly maintenance, the CHAMPS system will be unavailable between 6 p.m. tomorrow, September 20, through 9 a.m. ET Saturday, September 21, 2024. This outage will affect system access for all functions.

Pay Cycle Delay: The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) provider payments for pay cycle 40 will be delayed one day to October 4, 2024. This delay will include both EFT and paper warrants along with CHAMPS Remittance Advices such as HIPAA Electronic 835 transactions and paper.

Medicaid Reimbursement Rates Effective October 1: MDHHS calculated the Medicaid Annual Provider Reimbursement Rates for the dates of service on or after October 1, 2024. These FY 2025 rates are based on 2023 facility cost reports. The rates are now available to providers by accessing MILogin and entering the CHAMPS application. The reimbursement rate calculation is in the “Archived Documents” section for each provider under the provider’s National Provider Identification number.
