Updated Resources for Revised LTC Survey Guidance (SNF)

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released Revised Long-Term Care Surveyor Guidance: Significant Revisions to Enhance Quality and Oversight of the LTC Survey Process. CMS recently change the guidance effective date to April 28, 2025. AHCA updated several resources to address the changes related to antipsychotic medications and the documentation of schizophrenia diagnosis on the MDS. These include:
