CMS Promotes Nursing Home Staffing Campaign (SNF)
Earlier this year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released details about financial incentives as part of its Nursing Home Staffing Campaign, aimed at supporting facilities in areas with high labor shortages. This initiative is supported by a $75 million investment and will raise awareness of career opportunities, provide tuition reimbursement and stipends, and work with states to expand Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Programs. Recently, CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz encouraged all governors to partner with CMS to further expand the campaign in each state.
