Michigan Minimum Wage Increases January 1, 2026 (SNF/AL)

Michigan’s Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act of 2018 outlines the minimum hourly wage, which is set to increase from $12.48 per hour to $13.73 per hour beginning January 1, 2026. This increase is a scheduled rise that continues the state’s multi-year wage adjustment tied to inflation and economic conditions. The minimum hourly wage will increase again January 1, 2027, to $15/hour.
