Update: MDHHS Announces New File Transfer Service (SNF)
MDHHS Rate Setting Section confirmed that this change to the file transfer service will not impact their notifications coming from their section. Rate notices, settlements and audit information will not be impacted by this change. This will have little to no impact for nursing facilities.
All current File Transfer Service (FTS) customers are welcome to use the new FTS URL: MiFTS.state.mi.us for HTTPS (Web), SFTP, & FTPS. Review the SoM FTS Connection Info document for further details.
MDHHS recommends that providers test your access to the new URL. Firewall rules may need to be requested for your facility to access this site. After successful testing, update any automated applications or scripts to use the new URL. Begin using the new URL as soon as practical no later than February 1, 2022. The FTS users should use the new URL https://mifts.state.mi.us/user by February 1st, 2022.
