MDHHS Advances QAS and QMI Payments for FY 2023 First Quarter (SNF)

To assist members in managing rising operating costs, HCAM has advocated that the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) advance Medicaid funds. We’re happy to announce that the Quality Assurance Supplement (QAS) payments for October, November, and December 2022 will be paid tomorrow – Thursday, October 20. The Quality Measure Initiative (QMI) payment for those months will be paid Thursday, October 27.

“In order to assist providers with immediate cash flow challenges, we are advancing the entire October, November, and December Quality Assurance Supplemental (QAS) payments early on Thursday, October 20. The individual monthly QAS amounts will be the same monthly amount that was paid in September.

We will also be advancing the entire October, November, and December Quality Measure Initiative (QMI) payments on Thursday, October 27. The individual monthly QMI amounts will be the same monthly amount that was paid in September.”
