Adult Foster Care Update

On June 22, 2023, Representative Stephanie Young introduced House Bill 4814. Passing this bill would be detrimental to licensed Adult Foster Care communities in Michigan. HCAM formed a coalition with other associations and entities that are also opposed to this bill. We are meeting regularly and have requested a meeting with the bill sponsor, relevant committee chairs, and House and Senate leadership. HCAM will continue to provide updates throughout this process.
