Education Specialist – Lansing, Michigan

A Lansing-based trade association seeks a creative meeting coordinator to assist with conferences and education programs.

The Education Specialist provides administrative support for the planning, facilitation and evaluation of association activities including developing marketing materials, soliciting sponsorships, speaker management, processing registration records, and more. The Education Specialist also takes the lead on planning and executing the annual expo in conjunction with a state convention.

Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred. The ideal candidate will:

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator – Grand Rapids, Michigan

Candidates must have human resource knowledge and experience including, but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, WC and UIA claims, payroll, and benefits administration; plus Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management, budgeting, rent billing, month-end close/reporting; completes admissions and marketing promotions.   5. Complete MDS portions of care in a timely manner into the Point Click Care electronic system
  6. Responsible for confirming entertainers and completing entertainment agreements.
  7. Completes and performs performance review for activity aides.
  8. Oversees the volunteer program.
