CDC Pilots Direct Care Worker Survey (SNF/AL)
The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) announced it is piloting a survey of direct care workers (DCW) from residential care settings and nursing facilities. The pilot is intended to gain a clearer understanding of the role DCW play in day-to-day care for use in portraying their jobs to health care planners and policymakers. The 30-minute survey will cover a variety of topics including general demographics, training, employer benefits, experiences, and job satisfaction. The CDC will send direct invitations out to DCW with the goal of receiving 300 completed surveys. Any DCW interested in volunteering may call the DCW Pilot Study Help Desk at (866) 214-2047.
