HCAM is Celebrating Careers In Aging!

March is Careers in Aging Month, dedicated to bringing greater visibility and awareness to the wide-ranging careers in long-term care and celebrate current employees in the profession. Throughout the month, HCAM is showcasing LTC professionals who have made long-term care their calling, as submitted by our member facilities and communities:

• Follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn to meet our featured LTC professionals. We’ll spotlight different employees every Monday through Friday, so check back daily to see professionals from both skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
• Join us in celebrating and spreading the word about careers in aging on social media using the hashtag #CareersInAging.
• Find photos and information about these dedicated LTC workers on the HCAM website.
• In addition, we are sending updates to Michigan legislators highlighting the importance of long-term care work as well as some of our spotlight caregivers.
• We will recognize these professionals at HCAM’s Spring Leadership Conference on March 20-21 by creating a presentation with their photos and information.
