A strong coalition of leaders from the long-term care profession represented Michigan in Washington, D.C. last week for AHCA’s Congressional Briefing. HCAM and member facilities joined AHCA in advocating against the staffing mandate issued by CMS earlier this year. The team met with 9 members of Congress from Michigan, sharing how the staffing rule will harm residents and the staff that care for them. Thank you to all of the attendees for your advocacy on behalf of the entire profession!
