AHCA/NCAL 2024 National Quality Awards Intent to Apply is Now Open (SNF/AL)
The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award program, 2024 National Quality Award Intent to Apply (ITA) is now open! HCAM encourages members who are planning to apply for a National Quality Award in 2024 to submit an ITA before the November 16, 2023, deadline.
Why Submit an ITA?
Submitting an Intent to Apply helps both AHCA/NCAL and you. ITAs help the Quality Awards staff project the approximate number of applicants for a quality award, ensuring adequate resources are available for an efficient review process. Submitting an ITA provides you, the applicant, a discounted application fee. And the first 100 ITA’s received will be entered to win a complimentary application fee for the 2024 National Quality Award cycle!
What is the Process to Submit an ITA?
- Visit ahcancal.org/QualityAward and tap Portal.
- Login in using your designated username and password.
- Navigate to your center’s dashboard and select Payment to submit your Intent to Apply.
Deadline: Members may submit an ITA until November 16, 2023, at 8 p.m. EST.

‘Your Top Line’ Publications Now Available (SNF)
“Your Top-Line” is a LTC Trend Tracker publication that includes metrics and graphics outlining skilled nursing facilities progress on Five Star performance, the AHCA/NCAL Quality Initiative, their journey through the Quality Awards program, and other necessary data to help members achieve their desired goals. To access your reports:
- Log into LTC Trend Tracker
- From the left-hand menu, click “Manage Publications” and then select “View and Download Publications.”
- From the “Select a Publication” drop-down list, select “Your Top Line.”
- Use the “Download by Division” pane if you have multiple facilities or use the “View and Download Publications by Building” pane to view or download a PDF for a single building.
