CDC Publishes 2025-26 Flu Vaccination Recommendations (SNF/AL)
The Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) recently released the 2025-2026 influenza vaccine recommendations in its Morbidity and Mortality Week Report. Routine annual influenza vaccination is recommended for all persons aged 6 months and older without a contraindication to vaccination to protect against influenza and its complications. As a reminder, the FDA also approved the COVID-19 vaccine for those aged 65 and older as well as adults with high-risk conditions.
