Changing Educational Requirements for RDs (SNF/AL)

Beginning January 1, 2024, new dietitians seeking to become registered will face increased educational requirements with the minimum degree requirement for eligibility to take the registration examination changing from a bachelor’s degree to a graduate degree. The change will not affect current registered dietitians (RD) or dietitians who are eligible to take their exams before the new rule takes effect.
