CHOW Bulletins (SNF)

MDHHS recently released the following final bulletins regarding a nursing facility Change of Ownership (CHOW): 

Final Bulletin MMP 23-11 — Effective April 1, this policy clarifies the requirements for entering hard copy level of care determinations (LOCD) into CHAMPS following a CHOW for a nursing facility.

Final Bulletin MMP 23-12 — Effective April 1, this bulletin describes changes to language in the MDHHS Medicaid Provider Manual to update and clarify policies regarding the CHOW process for nursing facilities.
