CMS Releases Advance Copies of Critical Element Pathways (SNF)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released advance copies of updated Critical Element Pathways (CEP) for survey processes. The revisions are reflective of new guidance for Phase 3 Requirements of Participation, and go into effect on October 24, 2022. The CEPs can be found in the CE Pathways Zip link in the downloads section of the CMS Memo’s webpage posting for QSO-22-19-NH, located HERE.
