Deadline Fast Approaching to Apply for Awards

HCAM extended the deadline to nominate individuals for the Awards of Excellence to this Monday, July 15. Assisted living community members are encouraged to submit nominations for the Gerry Baker Hero of Health Care Award. Named for one of HCAM’s past board presidents, the Gerry Baker Hero of Health Care Award honors those in the profession whose commitment to residents and co-workers goes beyond the already high standard LTC workers set every day. The award celebrates dedicated individuals who perform their jobs in an exceptional manner. Nominees should be individuals who come to work each day to improve residents’ lives, always making a positive difference. Any LTC position is eligible including administrators, executive directors, nurses, dietitians, therapists, housekeepers, support/office/activities, laundry or maintenance workers, and others. In 2024, HCAM will award Gerry Baker Hero of Health Care Awards to a maximum of 4 assisted living employees, and winners will be recognized at the HCAM Annual Convention, September 16-18, 2024, in Grand Rapids. Nominate someone today!
