Engaging with Health Care Coalitions

The American Health Care Association’s (AHCA) Emergency Preparedness/Life Safety Committee is sharing a newly published resource to improve the ability for long term care facilities to plan for and respond to large-scale emergencies and meet Emergency Preparedness requirements pertaining to community-based exercises. The new resource provides background information and steps to getting involved with health care coalitions supported by the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Hospital Preparedness Program.
