Infection Prevention Symposium (SNF/AL)

Michigan’s Surveillance for Healthcare-Associated & Resistant Pathogens Unit along with the Infection Prevention Resource and Assessment Team are co-hosting an Infection Prevention Symposium. The three-hour, in-person symposium will share infection prevention best practices and training resources.

Grand Rapids: October 25, 2022        Livonia: November 16, 2022        Lansing: November 30, 2022

All Skilled Nursing Facility Sessions begin at 1:30 p.m.

Topics include Multidrug Resistant Organisms in Michigan, Application of Informatics in Long-Term Care Infection Prevention Programs, Outbreak Response and Mitigation Tools, Antimicrobial Stewardship and Project Firstline. Administrators along with all skilled nursing facility Directors of Nursing, Infection Preventionist, Directors of Environmental Services, and other health professionals are encouraged to attend. There is no cost to attend. Space is limited. Individuals are encouraged to REGISTER as soon as possible. Registration closes October 21, 2022, at 12 p.m. or once maximum capacity is reached.
