MDHHS Medicaid Rate Claims Adjustments (SNF)

MDHHS is in the process of adjusting the previously paid claims to the recently released October 1, 2021 rates for nursing facilities. MDHHS stated: “October 1, 2021, Long Term Care (LTC) per diem rates have been approved and loaded into CHAMPS. MDHHS will adjust the impacted claims beginning with pay cycle 2-17-2022. If after 30 days providers identify claims that were not reprocessed through this process they can adjust for correct payment.”
