Medication Management Training Update

In 2025, HCAM will be offering another form of Medication Management training for our members. Our current program is a train-the-trainer style that equips the attendee with the knowledge and tools to be able to go back to their buildings and train new medication aides. We will now be offering an additional training-Medication Management for Students. Providers will be able to send their new medication aides to be trained by HCAM instructors. This will be helpful for providers that don’t have the time or resources to train a medication aide themselves. This program covers the minimum required information the medication aide must know in order to administer medications to a resident in any assisted living setting. HCAM will continue to update you as the dates of these trainings are posted.
