Michigan Adds More Medication Aide Training Programs (SNF)

HCAM continues work with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) and community colleges to implement training programs across the state, and we are happy to report that two additional community colleges have been approved to conduct a medication aide train program: Lansing Community College and Baker College. This brings a total of six Michigan community colleges that offer the training program to eligible Certified Nurse Aides:

• Glen Oaks Community College (Centreville)
• North Central Michigan College (Petoskey)
• Kalamazoo Valley Community College (Kalamazoo)
• Macomb Community College (Warren)
• Lansing Community College (Lansing)
• Baker College (Owosso)
