Nursing Facility Discharge Requirement (SNF)

MDHHS sent out the following reminder of the importance of timely completion of the beneficiary’s discharge day and details in CHAMPS: Failure to enter accurate discharge details in CHAMPS could create access to care issues for the Medicaid beneficiary. Furthermore, the accuracy of all admission details in CHAMPS is paramount as we attempt to extrapolate residents who may be at risk during the eventual end of the Public Health Emergency.
