OSHA Respiratory Protection Plan

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is maintaining its focus on the Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134) to make sure heightened efforts to control the spread of respiratory illnesses continue. The Respiratory Protection Standard requires nursing facilities and assisted living communities to establish and maintain a respiratory protection program to protect staff against infection agents such as COVID-19. In order to ensure compliance with this standard, the American Health Care Association (AHCA), in collaboration with MCA Consulting, LLC, is offering a Respiratory Protection Plan training and toolkit. This training and toolkit will provide necessary forms, templates, and training videos, along with other essential resources.
