Reminder: MDHHS CON Annual Survey Due April 29 (SNF)
MDHHS Certificate of Need (CON) requires all nursing facilities to complete an annual survey. MDHHS has begun that process on March 9 and did provide webinars on the survey. The annual survey is a requirement for all providers who have a CON even if your CON was obtained several years or decades ago. Michigan requires all nursing facilities to have a CON to operate and access Medicaid reimbursement. The department does use this information in the formula that calculates the number of nursing facility beds needed in each county planning area.
