Reminder – Nursing Facility Licensure Renewals Open (SNF)

The 2023-2024 state licensing renewal cycle for nursing facilities is now open. Standard renewal notices were mailed to the correspondence address on file of each nursing facility. The renewal process for a state license must be completed through the eLicense portal using a credit card or electronic check for payment of the licensing fees. It takes approximately three weeks from renewal submission and payment until the paper copy of the license is received via mail. Please plan accordingly to ensure that the paper copy of the license is received prior to the expiration date. If a state license is not renewed on or before the expiration date of July 31, 2023, the license will expire without a grace period and will be considered null and void effective August 1, 2023.
