Staff Agency Price Gouging (SNF/AL)

There is a letter on staff agency price gouging currently circulating the U.S. House of Representatives for co-signers that will be sent to the White House. Click HERE to read the letter. 

AHCA/NCAL has been working with the American Hospital Association (AHA) on this issue and supports this letter. While the letter is more hospital focused as led by AHA, it gets at the main point of advocating for federal agencies with competition and consumer protection authority to investigate this conduct to determine if it is the product of anticompetitive activity and/or violates consumer protection laws. 

In the near future, a joint letter with AHCA/NCAL and AHA will be sent to the White House on staff agency price gouging.

Advancing Excellence, of which AHCA/NCAL is a member, sent a letter to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on this matter in December. AHCA/NCAL also sent a letter last fall to the FTC on this issue.
