State Launches Workplace Mental Health Hub
The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) recently launched a Workplace Mental Health Resource Hub, which is a centralized hub to share resources and strategies aimed at helping employees and employers across the state address mental health in the workplace.
In addition, the state continues to offer additional mental health resources provided by the Stay Well program, a behavioral health partnership led by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. It offers mental wellness education, discussion groups, individual crisis counseling, and other tools. Call the confidential, free Michigan Stay Well Counseling Line at 888-535-6736, ext. 8, which is available 24/7.
Both sites provide posters and other materials to print, handout or otherwise get into the workplace and directly in front of employees.
