State Licensing Renewal Cycle for Nursing Facilities Now Open (SNF)

The online license renewal portal for all Michigan nursing facilities is now open. All Michigan nursing facility licenses expire July 31, 2024. There are no grace periods or exceptions. You must have an active license to continue operating on August 1. Renewals take approximately 3 weeks to process, so plan accordingly:

• Go to BCHSeLicense.
• Enter the Permanent ID/License Number listed on your license and select the “Search for License” button at the bottom of screen. Note, all license numbers are 10 digits starting with 1070. 
• Select the “Continue to Summary” button at the bottom of screen.
• Select the “Continue to Fees” button at the bottom of screen.
• Select the “$ Pay Fees in CEPAS” button at the bottom of screen.
• Follow the prompts to provide electronic payment information.
• Print the receipt for the payment; this is the only opportunity to print a receipt.
