Two New Action Briefings Released for Revised Surveyor Guidance (SNF)

The American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) released two action briefings to prepare long-term care facilities for the release of the Revised Long-Term Care (LTC) Survey Guidance: Significant revisions to enhance quality and oversight of the LTC Survey Process, which surveyors will begin using February 24, 2025. These new action briefings, Right to be Free from Chemical Restraints and Infection Prevention Control, outline significant changes made, along with action items facilities can take to achieve and sustain compliance in these areas.
