NHSN SNF HAI Reporting (SNF)

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Surveillance of Healthcare Associated and Resistant Pathogens (SHARP) Unit is recruiting nursing facilities interested in working with the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) to report Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI). The SHARPS Unit has created a collaborative User Group of nursing facility Infection Preventionists to discuss HAI prevention and control topics and share best practices. If your facility is interested in learning more, please email Sarmed Rezzo or call 517 -582-2397.
