Now Available: Q&A from AHCA/CMS on Mandatory Provider Enrollment Off-Cycle Revalidation (SNF)

As HCAM previously shared, on September 19 the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that all skilled nursing facility providers will receive off-cycle provider enrollment revalidation notices from their Medicare Administrative Contractor to collect data on ownership, managerial and related party information not previously required. Approximately one-third of SNFs will receive these notices in October, one-third will receive them in November and one-third will receive them in December. Providers must submit the new information in a new Appendix on the Form CMS-855A (09/24) version.
