CMS Requests Comments Regarding Potential Medicare Changes (SNF/AL)

On January 31, 2025, President Trump issue Executive Order 14192 “Unleashing Prosperity Through Deregulation, which expresses the administration policy to reduce the private expenditures required to comply with federal regulations. In response, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit public feedback for potential changes to Medicare regulations. Through this RFI, CMS seeks input on approaches and opportunities to streamline regulations and reduce administrative burdens on providers, suppliers, beneficiaries, Medicare Advantage and Part D plans. CMS request information to identify opportunities for deregulation, while ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality care to beneficiaries. Please submit comments through an online submission by 11:59 p.m. ET June 10, 2025.
