Find Out More About the Long-Term Care Data Cooperative for Assisted Living

Anyone who works in the assisted living setting knows that there is a lack of comparative data for providers. That’s why the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) encourages all assisted living providers to enroll in the Long-Term Care (LTC) Data Cooperative, which is a provider-led initiative to assemble resident clinical data from the major long-term care EHR vendors on behalf of post-acute and long-term care organizations. The data serves four key purposes:

  1. Health care operations/population health analytics.
  2. Public health surveillance.
  3. Observational, comparative effectiveness research.
  4. Clinical research studies.

NCAL published a white paper which identifies the benefits of aggregated data in assisted living. Email [email protected] if you have questions or would like to enroll
