Assisted Living Medication Management: Student Course

Many residents in assisted living require support with medication management. This program equips your staff to provide this essential service safely, maintaining compliance with state training regulations. HCAM’s medication management program is tailored to train staff in Homes for the Aged, Adult Foster Care, and other assisted living settings.
Our Student Program provides essential knowledge for medication aides, covering basic competencies for administering medications orally, topically, by inhalation, and by instillation (eyes, ears, nose). Support skills, including blood pressure measurement, cold compress application, dressing changes, and vital signs, are covered as needed. Competency exams and knowledge checks for each unit are included, with a course completion certificate awarded at the end.
