Respiratory Fit Testing Kits (SNF/AL)

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) continues to provide free qualitative fit testing apparatus kits along with Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) training resources to ensure respiratory protection standards are met. Qualifying facilities include skilled nursing facilities, adult foster care, homes for the aged, and assisted living communities. To request these free kits for your facility, the facility’s Infection Preventionist (or other designated facility employee) should complete this linked order form.

Respiratory fit testing kit orders will be placed at the end of each month. After you complete and submit the order form, kits will be shipped using the information you provided. Following the shipment, MDHHS will provide training resources and contact information for MIOSHA Consultative Assistance services.
