Resources to Stay Current on New Sick Time and Minimum Wage Laws
Public Acts 1 and 2 of 2025, took effect February 21 to stop the 2018 Earned Sick Time Act and Improved Workforce Opportunity Wage Act from taking effect as written. The new laws change the sick time and wage acts for the better; the changes impact skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
