New #GetVaccinated Resources Available (SNF/AL)
The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) launched 4-part video series to address vaccine hesitancy as part of the #GetVaccinated campaign. The videos highlight techniques to address vaccine concerns for staff, residents and family members through motivational interviewing and informed decision-making. The series includes:
- Addressing Misinformation on the COVID Vaccine
- Addressing Risks and Benefits of the COVID Vaccine
- Addressing Flu Vaccine Hesitancy with Residents’ Family Members
- Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy with Multiple Vaccines
In addition, AHCA/NCAL’s #GetVaccinated webpage provides information on best practices and guidance to support your vaccination efforts
