Non-Available Bed Plan (NABP) Policy Stakeholder Engagement Meeting (SNF)

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is seeking feedback via a survey from stakeholders on its NABP policy. Recall that, as of October 1, 2025, there is an interim policy in place for Michigan nursing facilities to follow when documenting patient census records and defining rooms available for particular uses. MDHHS will use the information you provide in the survey to identify people interested in advising on issues related to the NABP policy. Please proceed with the questions below if you wish to provide MDHHS with the requested information. Click here to take the survey before January 16. A meeting invitation will be sent to everyone who completes the survey to attend a stakeholder meeting on January 16 at 9 a.m.
