Assisted Living Medication Management
One and a Half Day Program:
April 3 (In-Person) and April 10 (Live Virtual)

HCAM developed a new and improved train the trainer program specifically geared to prepare Home for the Aged, Adult Foster Care and other assisted living settings to appropriately train their staff who are involved in medication management in each particular setting. This one-and-a-half-day program and training kit will prepare the trainer and provide him/her with the tools needed to train and evaluate staff for competency.
Trainers will learn how to effectively teach adult learners. The course does a deep dive into each unit to ensure the trainer has the knowledge and tools to take back to their community and teach their own Medication Aides.
New this year, the first day of training will be held in-person at the HCAM office in Lansing, and the second day will be held over ZOOM.
