Understanding the MDS 3.0 is critical to all skilled nursing facility departments. This class will review the MDS 3.0 from start to finish. You will complete a thorough review of each section. The course reviews all components of the Minimum Data set, the rules governing its completion and the management of the MDS process. The workshop is designed to follow a logical progression from the use of the MDS manual through the use of the completed MDS and its data including an explanation of the Care Area Assessments.
This is a must-attend workshop for new MDS nurses, anyone considering becoming an MDS nurse and any department within a SNF that works with the MDS!
